I joined this program towards the end of my
cancer treatments this past fall. The program has empowered me to regain a
sense of control over my body. It has given me hope that exercise is something
I can control. The information shared in the educational section has also
mentally enabled me to make informed decisions regarding a healthy lifestyle. I
was pretty healthy prior to cancer but being a 2x survivor has taken its toll
both physically, emotionally and financially. This program provides hope for a
better future, not only for me but so I don’t need to be a burden to the health
system. The participants and instructors are excellent in their knowledge of
how the body works. I would not go to the gym as I don’t believe I would get
the individual attention needed for my condition.
