Surviving to Thriving

NOTE: Surviving to Thriving is currently running online until it is safe to run again in person.

Surviving to Thriving is an evidence-based exercise and education program for cancer survivors and their caregivers.
It is offered in Edson.
Studies have shown that exercise can reduce treatment side effects such as fatigue, depression and impaired functionality which may last long into survivorship.
Strengthening, endurance and balance exercises help improve physical and mental well-being as well as reduce the risk of recurrence.

This initiative exercise program for cancer survivors and their caregivers including:
• Fun, light to moderate exercise
• Information to motivate and modify exercise habits
• No experience required
• Guided by a Certified Exercise Physiologist
